Christa Mueller García

International Arbitrator : Graduated from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

I approach each case with in-depth analysis and unwavering commitment, guaranteeing transparency, fairness, and efficient management of arbitration proceedings, backed by my experience, integrity and confidentiality.

I work in different venues, in Spanish and English, under different arbitration rules in construction and infrastructure contractual disputes in the electricity and hydrocarbons sectors.

I am an active member of 10 of the most important arbitration associations in America and Europe, and I am part of 4 of the most prominent arbitrators' lists in Latin America and China.

MY WORKING CULTURE

A Strategic and Human Vision of Arbitration

With a background that integrates both litigation practice and international arbitration, my approach is distinguished by a deep understanding of the adversarial process and the challenges faced by parties in complex disputes. I firmly believe that to lead an arbitration effectively, it is essential to have been in the position of the advocate, thoroughly understanding the procedural dynamics and burdens of proof.

In my practice, I avoid case saturation because each dispute deserves meticulous analysis and the time necessary to be understood in all its complexity. I do not believe in quick fixes or superficial approaches; my commitment is to depth and precision, ensuring that each party feels heard and that the award reflects a thorough and well-founded study of the law.

Furthermore, I believe that arbitration should not be rigid or excessively formalistic. I am convinced that the parties should have an active role in the design of the process, and not be afraid of innovation. My goal is to create an environment where all involved feel truly involved and confident that their case has been handled with the attention and rigor it deserves.
